The Overnight Sensation MTM Speaker Kit
by Paul Carmody
Paul gets the most sound out of the least space. The Overnight Sensation MTM speakers continue to get high praise for their accurate sound reproduction. Many builders have noted that these little speakers pack quite a punch and they were surprised at just how much bass could come from such a small speaker. More information and the crossover diagram can be found here on the Paul's website.
UPDATE: February 05, 2017 - I'm waiting for Parts Express to get the woofers back in stock for this kit.
Why is there a price increase when ordering one speaker? I divide shipping cost and packaging material between two speakers to cover "free shipping". But the cost to package and ship a single speaker is almost the same as a pair, so the $6 lost from not ordering the second speaker has to be added back in.
NOTE: I did not have the CNC company cut holes for terminals because everyone likes using something different. Most people that have purchased this flat pack bought the binding posts shown here: click link

This is a a very easy cabinet to assemble and can be done without clamps if needed. Some people have put these together using masking tape to hold the panels while the wood glue dries. The tweeter is a tight fit and will need to be pushed in pretty hard. That's the way they were designed to mount. If your tweeter seems like it just won't fit, it won't be the box. Check for any excess glue or plastic on the tweeter mount which can keep it from getting started in the hole. Once it's started, push a little on the top, then on the bottom. Back and forth until it's all the way in.
